Farizal Zainol Abidin, 50 years old, is an civil engineer who has 26 years of experience in property development , project management, water resources and wastewater engineering, construction and operation, privatization scheme development, construction, engineering consultancy.
Prior to joining Felda Water Sdn Bhd, He had also served under various capacities as the head of business development KIMLUN BERHAD, Head Of township for developing EAST LEADANG with UEM Group, he was the senior manager of Negara Properties Berhad subsidiary of Golden Hope Plantation Berhad and he was the project manager for Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad which is the company incorporated by Ministry of Finance, Malaysia to deliver affordable home for all Malaysian under B40 category.
Some of his notable achievement includes the delivery of pilot project for waste water treatment plant using AMBBR system via build, operate and maintain, this is the first type of treatment plant in Malaysia which capable to treat up to Malaysia standard A of water quality. Delivering EAST LEDANG Development which achieve award for the best landscape in Asia Pacific with Gross Development Value of RM1.3Billion. He was exposed to all facets of engineering operations, processes, performance, sales and marketing during his 15-year tenure at Golden Hope Group.
He also certified as lead assessor for ISO9000 and successfully complete a few Quality Improvement Project using JURAN Quality Improvement tools as team leader.
He graduated with Bachelor of Civil Engineering from University Pertanian Malaysia.
